Post Billpay

Flexible payments with Australia Post.

What is Post Billpay?
Postbillpay is a service provided by Australia Post which allows you to pay your EscapeNet bill at any Australia Post outlet.
Is Post Billpay secure?
Yes, a high level of security measures are in place to protect your personal details and privacy. You'll receive a payment ID number for each bill you pay. This acts as your receipt and gives you proof of payment.
Why do you only accept "in-person" payments?
Because we already have our own internal systems for phone and internet payments. If you would like to pay on the internet, please visit our secure internet payment gateway at esc.net.au/myaccount. Similarly, payments by phone can be made by calling us direct on 1300 135 235.
Why use Post Billpay?
  • Accessibility - with over 3800 locations nationally, you would be hard pressed to not find an outlet near you!
  • Convenience - you can use Postbillpay to pay more than 1000 different types of bills. You can pay as many bills as you like at the same time, and you can have payments made by someone else on your behalf.
  • Choice of payment options - you can pay using cash, cheque or EFTPOS.
  • Are there charges to use Post Billpay?
No extra charges are incurred when paying by Postbillpay. For clarity Postbillpay is considered a manual payment method and may attract an admin fee on your EscapeNet invoice. Be sure to select quarterly payments to avoid this fee.
How long does my payment take to arrive?
Generally, we receive payments the following day. However, please allow up to 3 working days for your payment to be received.
How do I use Post Billpay?
Simply take a copy of your bill to your Post office. Present the bill for payment at the cashier and settle the bill with either cash, cheque or EFTPOS. Be sure to obtain a payment receipt, especially if paying by cash. It really is as simple as that!
Can I part pay my invoice?
You are able to part pay your invoice, however extra charges are applicable for the second and subsequent payments on an invoice. The charges are $4.95 for the second payment, and $1.95 for all additional payments.
    How does Post Billpay work?
Well, its quite simple actually. We have entered into an agreement with Australia Post to receive your payment in trust for us. When you present your invoice to the cashier, your details are captured via a specially created barcode located towards the bottom of the invoice. This barcode contains both payment and account details to allocate the payment to you.

At the end of each day payments are summarised nationally and are retrieved by us through a specially designed retrieval system. We then process the file as it's received, allocating the payment to your account.
